UK Trust, CILIP International Libraries & Information Group, and CILIP Public & Mobile Libraries Group.
Over 200 delegates attended the virtual conference, with a further 300+ registered to view the recorded sessions. The live event featuring sector professionals from Europe, the USA, Canada, Africa, and the Middle East who shared ideas
and innovations from their respective regions. The conference was particularly well received by public library staff who have few opportunities to network with and learn from colleagues on international platforms.
The conference also highlighted challenges faced by libraries in the current global climate, including intellectual freedom, technological changes, and the need for library advocacy at all levels. However, it was the spirit of collaboration
and the demonstration of how libraries have been at the forefront of creating valuable connections that buzzed throughout the event.
